The farmhouse "I Pianacci" is about 7 ha. wide and produces olive oil and red wine. Since 1997 the farm's activity has extended to rural hospitality, thanks to the restoration of a previously abandoned building on the top of I Pianacci's hill. The typical rural architecture was totally preserved with particular attention to the wood beams and old "cotto" bricks, so that our guests can feel the ancient atmosphere without giving up the comforts of modern life.
The farmhouse is situated at 450 m.a.s.1. on the top of I Pianacci's hill, 3 kms. from Uzzano, an evocative medieval village, ancient municipality since the XII century. It is close to Montecatini Terme (12 Kms.) e Monsummano Terme (15 Km.) thermal resorts very well known for their curative waters and muds; to Pescia ( 6 Kms.) important floricultural centre full of nurseries where it's possible to buy at interesting prices every kind of flowers; to Collodi (8 Kms.) home of the writer of Pinocchio Adventures, with its picturesque medieval quarters, the Garzoni Villa and garden and Pinocchio 's Park; to Vinci ( 30 Kms.) Leonardo's birthplace.
